The ‘6th KKU SHOW and SHARE 2012’
KKU hopes to show, share and exchange learning processes, experiences and pride of its successes at the ‘6th KKU SHOW and SHARE 2012’ to be held on September 20 at the College of Local Administration, beginning from 8.30 a.m.
Since 2004, the university has continuallybrought in a tool called Knowledge Management (KM) for use in helping to create a good system of organization as well as the potential and capabilities of its personnel so that they could be further developed with high efficiency in the time leading up to the Learning Organization (LO).
This event falls under the support of KKU’s strategy and plans to continue with ongoing development projects. The Show and Share this year will be held with the aim of opening up opportunities for university activities as well as for internal and external working agencies and organizations to present and display their accomplished work and proud successes.
The show’s 6 themesare as follows:
- Work on organization management under Good Governance or GG
- Work on student services, teaching and learning, and additional curriculum/ activity management
- Work on research studies and development projects
- Work on developing innovation,invention and IT for development projects
- Work on academic services and professions
- Work on promoting the university to be the ‘ Healthy University ’
The day’s activities will include the exchange of learning, experiences, successes and pride of personnel and students from each faculty, working agencies of the KKU, and other government agencies in Khon Kaen province. They will display posters of their achievements, showing off the excellenceof university personnel and students from both inside and outside KKU.
The event will also present guest speakers and experts on KM. An exhibition will be organised to disseminate knowledge, techniques, and tactics together with Share and Learn, LO, KM Forum, CoPs, KKU-Cops and much more.
There will be also prizes for those who are successful in their work. The first prize is 20,000 baht in cash, the second is 10,000 baht and the third,5,000 baht. The Popular Vote prize winner will receive 5,000 baht. The other 6 complementary prize winners will be presented with shirts and certificates.
Interested lecturers, students, university personnel, staff and members of the public are urged to join KKU in this special event on September 20.
