Students of Faculty of Sciences receive the Prime Minister’s Digital Awards 2020 in the field of Digital Youth of the Year from the Prime Minister

Yesterday (March 9, 2021) at Santi Maitree Building of the Government House – Miss Pimonpun Chachomphon and Miss Yupaporn Wanna, two students from the Department of Statistics, Statistics Information Program of Faculty of Sciences, Khon Kaen University, received the Prime Minister’s Digital Awards 2020, which were granted to those having created an outstanding digital technology innovation. General Prayuth Chan-Ocha, the Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Defense gave the award to the students himself. The award, in the field of the  Digital Youth of the Year, is under the Artificial Intelligence Application Program, and is called, “A Detection System for a Person Concealing a Gun, by means of CCTV Camera on You Tube”. The work was under the supervision of Dr. Thanapong Intharah, a lecturer of the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Sciences.
