HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES (THAILAND) executives propose the Smart Education and Smart Healthcare to KKU

June 23, 2021 at Sirikunakorn 5, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University – Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University; Asst. Prof. Denpong Soodphakdee, Ph.D., Vice President for Digital; Asst. Prof. Chavakit Phumbunchoo, M.D., Vice Dean for Healthcare and Excellence Medical Center of the Faculty of Medicine; Assoc. Prof. Chuchart Kamollert, Ph.D., D.V.M., Director of Academic Service Bureau; Dr. Kitt Thianthanopajai, Director of the Institute of Digital Technology; met with the executives of HUAWEI  TECHNOLOGIES (THAILAND) CO.,LTD. to listen to their proposal on the Smart Education and Smart Healthcare program using the Smart Network 5G, Cloud AI.

The presentation of the Smart Education and Smart Healthcare program began at 13:30 p.m. Khun Worawit Jampachaisri, Senior Vice President of the Enterprise Business Group; Khun Prayut Tangsa-ngob, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the team from Huawei Technologies explained about the progress in the development of the company’s technologies, with examples of cooperation in development of different technologies of Smart Network 5G and Cloud AI. One example given was the development and collaboration with various organizations such as academic institutions and hospitals to increase their operational efficiency and modern services. It was expected that the presentation this time would result in Khon Kaen University’s use of the technologies in smart education and smart healthcare.

After the presentation, KKU administrators raised some questions related to the details of the program and discussed the future collaboration with the delegation from Huawei Technologies, Co.Ltd.
