March 15, 2022 from 17:00 to 18:30 p.m. – Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University gave a commencement address to the 2022 members of Khon Kaen University Student Council. The President, along with Assoc. Prof. Piansak Pakdee, Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relation; Asst. Prof. Narin Chansri, Assistant to the President for Student Development and Alumni Relation; and KKU administrators, on this occasion, also listened to the 2022 members’ policy. The event took place at Sirikunakorn Room 5, Office of Khon Kaen University President, Khon Kaen University.

Mr. Wutthikorn Imthawin, President of the 2022 Khon Kaen University Student Council presented at the meeting the policy the team used at the campaign and what the team wants to drive forward, which can be divided into 3 categories: opening the chance for students’ participation in different activities and opening the venue for public critique, promoting students to exercise and join the activities according to their interest, and promoting activities and planned projects such as Damrong Tham Center (Dhamma Upholding Center), adjusting the period for borrowing learning equipment, adjusting the rights for student attires.
Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University said he was pleased to meet with the members and the working team of the 2022 Khon Kaen University Student Council. The work of the Student Council can be compared to an imitating stage for the members that provides a chance for training and learning. A lot of renowned people in the society and many activists have undergone an imitating stage like this at their club activities or their Student Union before. The work here is a good chance to learn how to work for the benefits of the public. The students should also take some interest in social issues in order to become a leader in creative changes in the future.
