Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast provides home service to local folks
Based on its project for public health service held on August 8-10, 2019, Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast visited the villagers in Muang Community in Khon Kaen to disseminate knowledge on heart care with free health check.
At Muang Community Health Service Center, about 150 members of Khon Kaen’s Muang Community obtained free health check and listened to advices on heart nourishment measures which are public service activities annually conducted by the Practitioner Unit of Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast. The health services provided on the site included, health consultant, blood drawing and health check. The villagers also attended a lecture suggesting a pattern of healthy practices that are believed to help the people to live away from heart disease. The lecturer, an expert on heart disease from the heart center also explained the indications and signs heart disease, the importance of blood examination, the special method for cardio check, precautions of acute coronary syndrome and coronary heart disease (CHD).
This activity is held annually to commemorate the birthdate of Queen Sirikit, the King’s Mother, that falls on 12th August every year.
