Young student designers and alumni from the architecture’s graduate program in design at the booth and workshops at Esaan Fabric Expo 2019
November 1, 2019 – lecturers, students and alumni from the architecture’s graduate program in design, Faculty of Architecture, Khon Kaen University joined the Esaan Fabric Expo 2019, presenting their works at a booth and running workshops.
The activity was organized under the coordination of Asst. Prof. Dr. Tanasit Jantaree, Chairperson of Graduate Program in Design; Asst. Prof. Dr. Warin Boonyaputtipong; Asst. Prof. Dr. Chanattha Jullatsathian, Ajarn Chawanapon Nuamsawat; and Mrs. Kachamas Tinnarat. The opening ceremony featured 2 fashion shows by Young Designer Group – students majoring in fabric and fashion design, design program. The present students and alumni also exhibited their work at 10 booths. Another activity was the workshops of fabric decoration, basic embroidery, marbling art, mini-weaving loom, craft stamp on fabric, how to make a dreamcatcher; all free of charge by professors of the program and the graduate students. Esaan Fabric Expo 2019 is held on November 1 to 5, 2019 at KICE, Khon Kaen with the aims to increase market channels and expand marketing opportunities, build confidence and image of Esaan fabric, develop trading connection and network, and to cluster trading groups of Esaan fabric producers.
