KKU’s Srinagarind Hospital places Smart Mindfulness Care (SMC) Center to work to provide premium medical cares by specialized doctors.
On November 11, 2019, a group of distinguish guests comprising of Srinagarind Hospital’s staff and administrators assembled at SoWo 1 Building to witness the official opening of Special medical Center (SMC) Center. The ceremony was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul (MD), an acting president of KKU, with the presence of the acting dean of the faculty of medical sciences, Assoc. Prof. Songsak Kiartchoosakul (MD).
Assoc. Prof. Songsak Kiartchoosakul said that Special medical Center (SMC) is a health center provides health care services by specialized doctors with the assistance of advance medical equipment. The center is proficient for treating complicated diseases including brain and spine surgery. The center provides state of the art microscopic operation and transliteration endoscopy. The SMC Center also provides outpatients experiencing respiratory ailment, liver and kidney problems, reproduction infertility and beauty surgery. The center also takes care of orthopedic patients, otolaryngology patients, patients with rheumatism, and patients requiring physical.
Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul said that SMC has been put to operation for quite a while and it yielded satisfying feedbacks. The center targets especially for affordable individuals, foreigners and those carrying Ayuwatana Card, a member ticket issued by MSC. The revenue from this center is to be used for the medical student development, medical trainings, and as a monetary support for poverty patients. The patients attending SMC’s service not only receive premium health care but the money they paid for this service goes for public betterment. It is a big leap in health care system that prepares Srinagarind Hospital as an outstanding health care provider in ASEAN.
Special medical Center (SMC) is located on the 14th floor of Srinagarindara Building (SoWo 1) with the service hours from 7 am. to 4 pm. From Monday to Friday. The center will soon be expand to the 13th and the 15th floor of the same building.
