On June 16, 2024, the Faculty of Education at Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjak, Dean of the Faculty, along with the administrative team, handed over educational media and innovations to the Sila Municipal Demonstration School. The handover ceremony, held at the “Sila Fa Sai” Meeting Room in Sila Municipality, was graciously attended by Mr. Pairat Taweewan, Mayor of Sila Municipality, as well as the school’s management and teaching staff.
This event marked a continuation of the academic collaboration that began earlier in 2024, aiming to enhance the quality of education and empower teachers through modern teaching techniques and innovations.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjak stated, “This achievement highlights the Faculty’s important role in translating research-based knowledge into practical educational innovations. By transferring these to schools, we fulfill our academic service mission with pride. The tangible outcome is student development — the true core of our joint efforts. We believe this partnership will lead to sustainable educational success in the local area.”
Mr. Pairat Taweewan, Mayor of Sila Municipality, added, “On behalf of Sila Municipality, I extend my sincere gratitude to the Faculty of Education for working together to realize our shared goal of improving education. The Municipality stands ready to support this collaboration fully. With Khon Kaen University’s expertise, we are confident that this school will serve as a model institution that produces quality graduates for the benefit of our local communities and the nation.”
The event also included an award and certificate presentation ceremony recognizing the “Best Practice in Creative Innovator Curriculum Innovation” for the school’s teachers. This served to honor their efforts and boost morale as they work to enhance student learning.
More than just delivering modern teaching tools, the initiative reflects the Faculty of Education’s role as an academic mentor and a source of educational innovation. By sharing knowledge with the community, the Faculty helps strengthen the teaching profession and drive forward sustainable development in Thailand’s education sector.
