The College of Computing, Khon Kaen University (KKU), extends its sincere congratulations to the Basic Research Team for winning the Best Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation Award. The team presented the innovative work, “Lifting Risk Analysis,” a system designed to analyse the risks associated with improper postures during item lifting.
The team received the championship plaque at the Super AI Engineer: The 5th National AI Exhibition, held at Central Rama 9 on 22–23 October 2025. This event was organised by the Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT) under the theme celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Super AI Engineer Project and the tenth anniversary of AIAT. The KKU team competed in the Track AI category within the Northeastern Regional Coordination Centre.

The award-winning team members, all students from the Artificial Intelligence programme, included Mr. Thanarat Sae-hia, Mr. Phinatkhanin Pisitkul, Mr. Thanathon Boontem, Mr. Phakhawat Choochotrotshom, and Mr. Krissanapong Songkramsong. The project was supervised by Assistant Professor Praisan Padungweang, Ph.D.

This achievement represents a major milestone in advancing Thailand’s AI research sector, fostering the potential of young talent, and advancing creative works in AI. The innovation is expected to contribute to the creative and sustainable application of technology in the future.
