At the 28th Physical Therapy Relations Event, Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai Province
On December 20-21, 2025, the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Physical Therapy Program, Khon Kaen University, participated in the 28th Physical Therapy Relations Event at Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai Province. The delegation was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Sawitri Wanpen, lecturer in the Physical Therapy Program, along with academic and student development staff, and physical therapy students.
During this event, the faculty participated in various activities including academic sessions, group relations activities, sports and recreation, as well as performances and creative activities. These activities promoted the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and ideas among more than 600 physical therapy students from 17 institutions nationwide, strengthening good relationships and unity within the physical therapy professional network.
The event also featured the PT AMBASSADOR 2025 competition, in which the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences entered 2 students. The results showed that a third-year student from the Physical Therapy Program, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University, won the championship.
Mr. Phatthadon Dongcharoen revealed that what he gained from this competition was friendship, pride, and the ability to push beyond his own limits. The friendship that developed with friends, seniors, juniors, including faculty members and staff from various universities sharing the same profession – every smile, warmth, and encouragement given to each other, both on stage and behind the scenes of the competition, have all become invaluable and deeply impressive memories. Regarding pride and pushing beyond his own limits, every word and expression on the competition stage allowed him to truly show himself – his interests, passions, perspectives, and his authentic self – enabling others to get to know him better. At the same time, he learned more about himself and discovered his own potential and how far he could go. Finally, he would like to express gratitude to the faculty members, senior staff, as well as all friends, seniors, and juniors who provided encouragement, support, and were the wind beneath his wings throughout this competition.
Additionally, students developed important skills including communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and professional socialization, which are crucial skills for becoming quality physical therapists in the future. This also helped enhance the positive image of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University, as an institution that values comprehensive and sustainable student development.
