OAS KKU Transforms Digital Education, Developing Professional Executives with Advanced “Generative AI for Administration and Educational Management” Course

        The Office of Academic Service, Khon Kaen University (OAS KKU), is advancing Thai education by equipping professionals with intellectual tools through the intensive training programme, “Generative AI for Administration and Educational Management.” Led by KKU’s senior digital executives, the course shares techniques for utilising AI as an “intelligent assistant” to enhance administrative efficiency and teaching quality in preparation for the future.

        From 21 to 23 January 2026, at the Charoen Thani Hotel, Khon Kaen, the Office of Academic Service organised the “Generative AI for Administration and Educational Management” course. Associate Professor Chuchat Kamollerd, D.V.M., Ph.D., Director of the Office of Academic Service, presided over the opening ceremony and welcomed participants. Attendees included educational administrators and personnel from numerous leading public and private organisations, such as Chitralada Technology Institute, international schools, Mahasarakham University, Prince of Songkla University, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, and Secondary Educational Service Area Offices.

A key highlight of this course was the participation of distinguished experts from Khon Kaen University who are direct leaders in digital transformation:

In-Depth and Practical Content

Throughout the three days, participants engaged in learning and practical workshops covering every dimension of modern educational administration through Generative AI tools:

  • Day 1: AI Foundation & Governance – Establishing a professional foundation by exploring the landscape of Gen AI and various Large Language Models (LLMs), with a focus on AI Ethics and safety for correct and sustainable usage.
  • Day 2: AI for Teaching & Learning Strategy – Transforming instruction by using AI to design lessons, teaching materials, and examinations, as well as creating real-time report dashboards and corporate strategic planning with AI.
  • Day 3: AI Agent & Automation Workflow – Elevating operations through advanced automation, featuring case studies on using AI Agents to reduce redundant tasks and increase organisational efficiency.

Tangible Results: From “Learner” to “Innovator”

This training went beyond theory, emphasising intensive workshops that allowed every participant to practise using Generative AI as a “personal assistant” for data analysis, strategic planning, and workflow innovation design. This resulted in individual project-based outputs that can be immediately applied to develop their respective organisations.
