KHON KAEN – The Academic Service of Khon Kaen University (KKU) is continuing its initiative to enhance employment opportunities for people with disabilities by offering practical workshops on basic online marketing.

The training is part of the second phase of the “Expansion of the Higher Education Network for Developing the Professional Potential of People with Disabilities” project. Workshops are scheduled to take place in two targeted development areas:
- February 12, 2026: At Sila Municipality, Mueang Khon Kaen District.
- February 25, 2026: At the Daeng Yai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang Khon Kaen District.

The hands-on workshops are designed to provide participants with immediately applicable skills. Key training modules include:
- Getting Started: Learning to create online sales pages and prepare for onboarding to KKU Market, the university’s e-commerce platform.
- Building Brand and Product Value: Using storytelling techniques to differentiate products, with a special focus on promoting the environmental benefits of processed fabrics to emphasize “value” over “price.”
- Modern Sales Techniques: Crafting engaging social media posts, setting prices, and using AI to assist with generating basic advertising copy.
- Store Management: Understanding the backend system of the KKU Market platform for effective shop administration.

The training sessions will be conducted by a team of experts from KKU Enterprise, led by its acting director, Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyada Daodung, who will provide close guidance to the participants.
This initiative underscores the role of KKU’s Academic Service Bureau in leveraging university knowledge and technology to improve the quality of life and foster sustainable economic empowerment for people with disabilities in the community.
