Queen Sirikit Heart Centre Updates Digital-Era Hypertension Care at 5th NETHS & Q-Bex 2026 Academic Conference

The Queen Sirikit Heart Centre of the Northeast has successfully launched the 5th annual academic conference, “Northeastern Thailand Hypertension Summit and Queen Sirikit Heart Center Board Exam Review (NETHS & Q-Bex 2026): The Masterpiece”. Held virtually from 27 to 29 May 2026, the conference is broadcast live from The Heritage Grand Hotel & Convention in Khon Kaen Province. The event serves as a premier national platform for medical personnel and multidisciplinary professionals from across Thailand to exchange advanced clinical knowledge and update comprehensive guidelines for hypertension management.

The opening ceremony was executed with distinction, featuring an opening address by Associate Professor Pattarapong Makarawate, M.D., MSc, FHRS, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Khon Kaen University. Following the opening remarks, Associate Professor Makarawate delivered a keynote lecture titled “Digital Health & AI in Hypertension Management”. The presentation outlined strategic frameworks and future directions for integrating digital technologies and artificial intelligence into the prevention, screening, monitoring, and efficient management of hypertensive patients, aligning with modern medicine’s shift towards precision, comprehensive, and accessible healthcare.

In addition to the keynote presentation, Dr. Pongsak Inthraphet, Deputy Director of the Queen Sirikit Heart Centre, alongside a panel of leading medical experts from various renowned institutions nationwide, contributed to the sessions. The speakers shared clinical insights and updated evidence-based guidelines regarding hypertension diagnostics, therapeutics, medical technology, and multidisciplinary patient care, with the ultimate goal of elevating treatment standards to match contemporary healthcare challenges.
