Faculty of Agriculture Organizes Workshop on “AI Assistant for Operational Tasks” to Strengthen Prompting Skills and Enhance Staff Efficiency

On May 30, 2025, the Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University, held a hands-on workshop titled “AI Assistant for Operational Tasks: Enhancing Prompting Skills to Improve Work Efficiency at the Faculty of Agriculture” at the Faculty’s computer lab. The event drew participation from more than 50 administrative and support staff members.

The training was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khundech Suriharn, Associate Dean for Administration, who served as the keynote speaker and trainer. The workshop was divided into two key sessions:

  • Lecture Session: Participants were introduced to AI technologies and the “art of prompting,” a crucial skill for effectively communicating with AI to achieve high-quality outcomes.

  • Practical Session: Attendees engaged in hands-on practice using AI tools to refine official documents and emails, enhance content, generate creative ideas, and compare prompt strategies to improve accuracy and productivity.

The workshop atmosphere was highly engaging, with active participation throughout. The focus on practical learning enabled participants to directly apply new skills in their day-to-day responsibilities. This initiative reflects the Faculty’s strong commitment to integrating AI technology into administrative and operational workflows—ensuring that its workforce is well-equipped for the digital era.
