KKU Food Technology Students Win Two National Awards at COCEAM 2025

On June 12–13, 2025, food technology students from the Faculty of Technology at Khon Kaen University brought pride to their institution by winning two prestigious national awards at the 7th Consortium of Cooperative Education in Agro-Industry and Management (COCEAM 2025). This academic forum, which gathered leading institutions from across Thailand, served as a competition platform for research and innovation in agro-industry and management.

 

The recognition came from outstanding research presentations judged by a panel of experts. Ms. Nantiphat Patanaprasitchai received the first prize in the cooperative education research presentation category for her project titled “Reducing Losses from Irregular-Shaped Instant Noodles and Improving the Frying Cup Placement Process in Instant Noodle Production.” Her academic advisor was Asst. Prof. Dr. Peeraphong Wongtahan.

Meanwhile, Ms. Amonchan Rasungnoen earned an honorable mention for her research presentation on the topic “Standard Setting and Cleaning Method Verification for Loop Rework Tanks Prior to Reuse During Production,” under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Dr. Patimakorn Klaiprasit.

 

COCEAM 2025 serves as a vital academic stage for Thai university students, promoting knowledge exchange and innovation in agro-industrial and management fields. The success of KKU students at this national forum highlights the quality of their academic program and teaching, as well as the dedication of both students and faculty to continual improvement.
