On Wednesday, 23 July 2025, at 13:09 hrs, Khon Kaen University organized the Oath-Taking Ceremony to Be Good Civil Servants and the Power of the Land 2025, in celebration of the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 73rd Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2025.
The ceremony was led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, and his spouse, Dr. Aunejit Panthongviriyakul, along with vice presidents, assistants to the president, deans, directors of offices and divisions, faculty members, and staff. The event was held at the first-floor lobby of Sirikunakorn Building, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University.
The ceremony commenced with the President and his spouse paying homage before the portrait of His Majesty the King, followed by the presentation of a floral tray with incense and candles. The President then led the participants in expressing loyal greetings to His Majesty, part of which stated:
“On this most auspicious occasion, we, Your Majesty’s humble and loyal subjects, pledge our unwavering loyalty and devotion. We humbly pray for the blessings of the Triple Gem and all sacred beings, as well as the divine grace of Phra Siam Devadhiraj, to bestow prosperity, happiness, and longevity upon Your Majesty, so that You may reign gloriously as a guiding light and protector of the Thai people for eternity.”
Following this, the President led the oath-taking and the singing of the royal anthem, after which all participants collectively paid their respects. The ceremony concluded with the President and his spouse signing a message of felicitations to His Majesty the King.
This annual oath-taking ceremony is part of a nationwide initiative that enables civil servants and government officials to reaffirm their commitment to serving as good civil servants and the power of the land, performing their duties with integrity and loyalty for the happiness of the people and the prosperity of the nation.
