Project to Enhance Student Potential in the Modern Era Collaboration between KKU Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies and HEX Innovating Education (MOU)

On July 29, 2025, the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, organized the project “Enhancing Student Potential in the Modern Era with a Global Mindset and Future Skills” aimed at equipping students with essential 21st Century Skills. The event was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Suntaree Buchitchon, Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, along with the executive team and staff at Meeting Room NK 1403, Administrative Building.

Dr. Suntaree explained that the project focuses on developing key competencies, particularly digital literacy, research and curiosity, and the ability to think critically and creatively. It supports KKU’s Education Transformation Strategy under Strategy 1 on educational development and Strategy 3 on enhancing student competencies for the 21st century. The initiative aims to raise educational quality and strengthen competitiveness at both regional and international levels.

The program featured a special lecture titled “Future-Proof Your Future Career: Key Trends and Future Skills for Success in the Modern Workforce” delivered by experts from HEX Innovating Education, including Ms. Jaclyn Benstead, Co-Founder & New Market, and Ms. Shaye Pumar, Chief Marketing Officer. Following the lecture, discussions were held on building networks and formalizing collaboration between the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies and HEX Innovating Education through an MOU. This partnership is expected to enhance educational quality and create greater competitiveness for learners in both regional and global contexts.

The project demonstrates the Faculty’s strong commitment to preparing students for the global labor market and producing graduates who meet international standards.
