On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the Legal and Corporate Communications Division of Khon Kaen University held a preparatory meeting for the upcoming “Khon Kaen University Societal Contribution Fair.” The meeting was chaired by Mr. Chumporn Para, Director of the Corporate Communications Division, and attended by representatives from more than 50 partner organizations both within and outside the university. The meeting took place in Sarasin Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Sirikunakorn Building, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University.

Mr. Chumporn explained that the Legal and Corporate Communications Division, in collaboration with all faculties, university units, and external partners, has continuously organized community service initiatives for the past five years. This year, the initiative returns under the title “Khon Kaen University Societal Contribution Fair,” which will be held on September 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Khon Kaen Railway Station.

The purpose of the fair is to engage faculty members, staff, and students in academic service activities that benefit society, strengthen ties between the university and surrounding communities, build collaborative networks both within and outside the university, and promote the positive image of Khon Kaen University. More than 50 agencies will join to provide services across four areas: healthcare, career promotion, education and knowledge sharing, and pet care, along with other community-focused services. These activities will be offered free of charge to 95 communities in Khon Kaen Province and nearby areas.

The preparatory meeting was held in a constructive and orderly manner, with representatives from all participating organizations exchanging ideas and suggestions concerning venue arrangements, equipment, and service delivery. The goal is to ensure that the fair provides effective and accessible services to the public, in line with Khon Kaen University’s motto of “Social Devotion.”
