On 21 August 2025, the Faculty of Architecture, Khon Kaen University organized its annual “Tech Day – Dinner & Exam Prep” for the 2025 academic year. The activity took place at the Faculty’s main conference hall from 16:30 to 21:00 and drew the participation of more than 150 students.

Assoc. Prof. Kritphat Thapalabutr, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, explained that the activity was initiated to emphasize the importance of reading and continuous learning, which play a vital role in every stage of life. He noted that reading enables individuals to access information, stay informed of scientific and technological advancements, and adapt to the fast-changing information age.

Adding to this, Dr. Ackapol Lamuang, Assistant Dean for Student Development, Alumni Relations, and Corporate Communications, highlighted that the Faculty’s Student Development Division recognized the value of fostering a warm and supportive atmosphere during the exam period. To achieve this, the Tech Day program invited students to come together and study at the Faculty, while also providing dinner, snacks, and refreshments. Faculty staff and alumni joined in to support the initiative, ensuring that students felt both cared for and motivated during this intensive academic period.

The organizers expressed gratitude to all faculty members, alumni, and supporters who contributed to the success of the event. Looking ahead, the Faculty of Architecture plans to build on this initiative by making it a regular activity, creating stronger bonds within the Faculty community, and inviting partners and alumni to continue supporting meaningful events that enrich both academic and social life.
