On August 22, 2025, the Faculty of Science at Khon Kaen University hosted a delegation from Naresuan University’s Faculty of Science for a collaborative meeting focused on sharing best practices in administration and the merging of academic programs.
The visit, which took place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wittayawipas Building, was aimed at fostering cooperation and building a network between two of Thailand’s leading science institutions. The discussions centered on learning from Khon Kaen University’s experiences with curriculum integration and overall faculty management.
Key topics included strategies for modernizing curricula to meet the demands of students and the current job market, adapting to new educational challenges, and integrating interdisciplinary knowledge to foster innovation.
The 17-member delegation from Naresuan University was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jakgrit Glin-iam, Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Development. They were welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Angkana Boonyued, Dean of the Faculty of Science at Khon Kaen University, along with her team of vice deans and program chairs.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of souvenirs and a group photograph to commemorate the partnership. The event was highlighted as a significant step toward strengthening and advancing science education in the country.
