KKU Science Park Prepares Student Entrepreneurs for Global Stage

The Khon Kaen University (KKU) Science Park is preparing three nationally selected student entrepreneurs to showcase their innovations internationally through the “World Class Opportunity with Experiential Learning Program 3.”

On August 23-24, 2025, the students participated in a “Preparing CEO for Abroad” workshop held at the Northern Region Science Park at Chiang Mai University. The session was led by Dr. Ronnakorn Waiyawut, an innovation development expert from Chulalongkorn University, who shared his knowledge and experience to equip the students for the global business environment.

The three KKU students selected for the program are Mr. Nawin Dechtharat with his project “Nanosilva,” Ms. Katharina Scholtessek with “Greener Point,” and Ms. Waranya Yosburi with “BioSplash.”

Later this year, the students are scheduled to travel to the United Kingdom and South Korea. The trip will provide them with an opportunity to engage with international business experts and conduct real-world market testing for their product prototypes.

The program’s primary objective is to cultivate “World Class Entrepreneurs” by developing their leadership, innovation, and business thinking skills through direct, hands-on experience. Supported by a nationwide network of science parks, these students are expected to serve as role models, inspiring a new generation of entrepreneurs to contribute to Thailand’s sustainable economic growth on the world stage.
