The Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, held a seminar on August 25-26, 2025, to review its operational performance from the 2024 fiscal year and to establish the hospital’s quality development direction for 2025.
During the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattarapong Makarawate, Director of the Queen Sirikit Heart Center, presented the center’s strategic plan, outlining its alignment with the administrative direction of the Faculty of Medicine. The seminar also featured presentations by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sakda Waraasawapati, Assistant to the President for Planning and Health Insurance at Khon Kaen University, and Assoc. Prof. Parichat Prachaney, Assistant Dean for Strategic Planning and Quality Development, who discussed the future trajectory for the university and the medical faculty.
The second day of the seminar included a special lecture by Dr. Bussakorn Leejiewara on “Place-Based Marketing,” focusing on strategies to expand cardiac services throughout the Northeast region.
The management team of the Heart Center also presented their vision and administrative direction across various dimensions. These discussions aimed to formulate a concrete action plan to systematically enhance the efficiency of medical services, in line with the hospital’s mission to achieve sustainable excellence in quality development.
