Khon Kaen University Joins the Commemorative Ceremony Marking the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol, Rama VIII

On Friday, September 19, 2025, Khon Kaen Province organized a commemorative ceremony in honor of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol, Rama VIII, on the auspicious occasion of the 100th anniversary of His Majesty’s birth. The event was held at the Sumetho Multipurpose Hall, Wat Pa Saeng Arun, Phra Lap Subdistrict, Mueang Khon Kaen District, Khon Kaen Province.

On this occasion, Khon Kaen University, led by Mr. Chumporn Para, Director of the Division of Corporate Communication, together with university staff, joined the ceremony to express their loyalty and to pay heartfelt tribute in remembrance of His Majesty’s boundless and gracious benevolence.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Kraisorn Kongchalard, Governor of Khon Kaen Province, who led heads of government agencies, civil servants, and members of the public in participating in a series of activities, including a merit-making almsgiving ceremony dedicated to His Majesty, a Buddhist prayer ceremony, and the laying of a floral tribute in remembrance of His Majesty’s immeasurable kindness and benevolence.
