KKBS Partners with the Marketing Association of Thailand to Host the Grand Marketing Seminar in Northeastern Thailand “Thailand Marketing Day On Tour 2025 @Khon Kaen” Elevates Thai Marketers to Keep Pace with Global Business Trends

On September 26–27, 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy (KKBS), Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with the Marketing Association of Thailand (MAT), organized a regional marketing seminar under the theme “Thailand Marketing Day On Tour 2025 @Khon Kaen” at Khon Kaen University Science Park.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Duangporn Wongkaweesakul, Executive Director of the Marketing Association of Thailand; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pensri Jaroenwanit, Vice President for Student Affairs and Innovation Commercialization, Khon Kaen University; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Pongsutthi Puensan, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University.

The seminar was held under the theme “The Awakening Momentum: Igniting Ideas to Embrace Change”, highlighting marketing trends and the role of technology that businesses must be prepared for. The program featured lectures and panel discussions by leading executives and marketing experts. Participants gained not only practical insights but also valuable opportunities to expand their professional networks and receive exclusive souvenirs from sponsors.

The two-day event featured a wide range of activities. On September 26, the program included “Train the Trainers On Tour – The Class of Change” for faculty members and educators, designed to enhance teaching competencies in the new era, and “J-MAT On Tour – Shortcut to Success?” for university students, offering inspiration and hands-on experiences from entrepreneurs and professional marketers. On September 27, the highlight event, “Thailand Marketing Day On Tour – The Awakening Momentum”, brought together more than 15 distinguished speakers and executives from leading organizations to share insights on marketing strategies, technology, and consumer behavior.

Ms. Duangporn Wongkaweesakul, Executive Director of the Marketing Association of Thailand, stated:

“Thailand Marketing Day On Tour is not only a platform to share modern marketing knowledge, but also a bridge connecting academia and industry to enhance the global competitiveness of Thai marketers. This year marks the 60th anniversary of MAT, and we are committed to carrying forward our mission—marketing for Thailand, marketing for society.”

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pensri Jaroenwanit, Vice President for Student Affairs and Innovation Commercialization, Khon Kaen University, emphasized the university’s role:

In addition, the event featured business showcase booths across various industries, including food and beverage, real estate, health and wellness, and digital platforms. This provided participants with opportunities not only to gain updated knowledge from the seminar but also to explore customer engagement strategies and discover new pathways for advancing their business strategies.
