The academic relationship between KKU’s Faculty of Technology and Osaka University began in 2022 when a research team led by Professor Fujiyama visited KKU to exchange knowledge and tour the faculty’s science laboratories. This led to the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions on March 31, 2023, when a delegation from KKU’s Faculty of Technology traveled to Osaka.
This recent visit marks a significant step in advancing the partnership. The Faculty of Technology plans to invite Professor Fujiyama to participate in its “Reinventing University 2025” project. Furthermore, both institutions discussed expanding their collaboration to include joint research and student exchange programs, aiming to enhance academic capabilities and elevate educational quality to international standards.
This cooperation reflects the commitment of KKU’s Faculty of Technology to developing its international network, improving teaching and research, and creating opportunities for its students and staff as it strives to become a leading educational institution regionally and globally.
