OrgComms opens its doors to the Medical Media Program for a hands-on upgrade in modern communications—news writing, graphics, and short-form video—plus a tour of FM 103 MHz

On 9 October 2025, from 1:00–4:00 p.m., the Office of Corporate Communications, Khon Kaen University (KKU)—led by Mr. Chumphorn Para, Director of the Office of Corporate Communications, together with unit heads and staff—welcomed a study visit from the Medical Media Program, Faculty of Medicine, headed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyanas Sudee, Program Chair, accompanied by faculty members and 30 students. The session took place at Sirikunakorn Room 3, 2nd Floor, Sirikunakorn Building, Office of the President, Khon Kaen University.

The program featured:

  • An overview of the Office’s operations and a briefing on KKU’s communication strategy delivered by the Director;

  • Presentations from key units—Events & Engagement, Radio Unit, and Media Production; and

  • A practice-oriented exchange workshop on “Institutional News Writing Techniques, Graphic Design for Informative Communication, and Short-Clip Production for Digital Platforms.”

    A Q&A session followed, bridging classroom learning with professional practice, highlighting workflows, standards, and tools used in real-world settings.

To conclude, the delegation visited the Khon Kaen University Radio Station, FM 103 MHz, to learn about program production and broadcast operations. The tour emphasized professional communication standards—accuracy, timeliness, and public interest—and KKU’s commitment to advancing accessible, academically sound public media that reflects the University’s role in mobilizing knowledge for society.
