The Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University (KKU), extends its congratulations to Master Thanapakorn Thongsri, a student from the Satit Demonstration School of Khon Kaen University (Faculty of Education Division) and a participant from the KKU Promotion of Academic Olympiad and Development of Science Education (POSN) Centre, for securing a Silver Medal.

Master Thanapakorn achieved this honour at the 4th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics for Juniors (IOAA-Jr 2025). The competition was held in Piatra Neamţ, Romania, from 18 to 25 October 2025, and saw the participation of students from over 20 countries worldwide.

The Thai contingent, consisting of five students, performed exceptionally well, achieving two Gold Medals and three Silver Medals.
