On 25 October 2568, the College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University (COLA KKU), co-hosted the 9th International Conference on Government Performance Management and Leadership (GPM&L 2025). This conference was organised in collaboration with the School of Management, Lanzhou University, the China Center for Government Performance Management, and COLA KKU.
Representing COLA KKU as co-hosts were Ajarn Suriyanont Pholsim, Ph.D., Assistant Dean for Student Development and Alumni Relations, along with Ajarn Rosita Dasri, Ph.D., and Ajarn Pithikorn Panyamani, Ph.D., lecturers at the College of Local Administration.
The project aimed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge on public administration, performance management, and public leadership in the 21st century, promote the creation of international academic networks, and drive the college’s internationalisation efforts. The event took place at Lanzhou University in the People’s Republic of China.

The content of the GPM&L 2025 International Conference was designed to cover the critical dimensions of modern public administration, including performance management, leadership development, and adaptation in the digital era. This ensured that participants could develop the necessary concepts and skills for public sector management, alongside establishing international academic cooperation networks. This project, therefore, signifies another major step in elevating the quality of education and research at the college to meet international standards.
