The ceremony took place at the Lavender 2-3 meeting room, TK Palace & Convention, Bangkok.

The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, was selected as one of only ten institutions chosen from twenty applicants to participate and receive funding for the “Kru Rak Thin” Project from the Equitable Education Fund (EEF). The Faculty’s Bachelor of Education Programme, specifically the dual major in Early Childhood and Primary Education, was selected to be part of the project.
The primary goal of this initiative is to identify, select, and screen economically disadvantaged students, providing them with the opportunity to pursue higher education at teacher-producing institutions. The project aims to cultivate their professional knowledge and ethical conduct as teachers, ensuring they return to develop education within their respective local communities.
Participation in the “Kru Rak Thin” Project underscores the Faculty of Education’s commitment to producing graduates who are innovators and possess essential future skills, while also providing academic services that create value for society, particularly through the development of education across all life stages.
This collaboration aligns with the Faculty’s vision to become a “Leading ASEAN Faculty of Education Focused on Educational Innovation for Sustainable Development.” Moreover, the partnership supports the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 4) on Quality Education, which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. This cooperative effort ultimately aims to reduce educational inequality and foster a learning society that progresses alongside Thailand’s sustainable development trajectories.
