KKU Joins 135th Si Harach Coffee Council, Fostering Sustainable Public-Private Partnership

Khon Kaen University (KKU) participates in a networking forum to integrate governmental and private sector collaboration for sustainable partnership.

This morning, 12 November 2025, Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Mr. Chumporn Para, Director of the Corporate Communications Division, along with personnel from the division, participated in the 135th “Si Harach Coffee Council” meeting. The Ratchawadee Khon Kaen Airport Hotel graciously hosted the meeting, with Mr. Khemchat Somjaivong, Chairman of the Executive Board of Ratchawadee Khon Kaen Airport Hotel, delivering the welcoming address.

Prior to the commencement of the event, all participants observed a moment of silence to convey profound sorrow and respect for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, while recalling Her Majesty’s infinite royal grace and boundless compassion.

Mr. Chumporn Para, representing Khon Kaen University, provided publicity and clarification regarding the preparations for the upcoming “Graduation Ceremony 2025.” The ceremony is scheduled for 18–19 December 2025. His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua has graciously designated Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, The Princess Debaratanarajasuda, as His Majesty’s representative to preside over the degree presentation ceremony for Khon Kaen University graduates of the academic year 2025 at the Golden Jubilee Convention Centre, Khon Kaen University.

Mr. Para noted that a large number of graduates and their relatives are expected to travel to the university during these two days, and therefore requested that all attendees check traffic routes before travelling.

The Si Harach Coffee Council serves the purpose of providing a platform for governmental agencies, the private sector, and local network partners to exchange information, news, and viewpoints, as well as to promote stable relationships and sustainable cooperation.
