Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, Shares Kindness to Southern Flood Victims

On November 27, 2068, the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Ampornpun Teeranat, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, along with administrators, lecturers, staff, and students, joined in delivering donated items to the Student Development and Alumni Relations Division, Khon Kaen University. These items will be collected and distributed to flood victims in the southern region, conveying encouragement and concern from the Faculty of Nursing to the affected people.

The objective of this activity is to provide assistance and alleviate hardship for flood victims, including families of nursing students residing in the southern region who have been affected by the floods. It also aims to promote the values of compassion, unity, and solidarity within Thai society.

Associate Professor Dr. Ampornpun Teeranat, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, stated, “The recent flood situation has caused distress to many people, including the families of nursing students in the southern region. The faculty has promptly gathered aid to ensure timely assistance reaches the victims, while also providing morale support to affected students and the general public. We firmly believe that the Thai people will work together to overcome this crisis.”

The donated items received are a result of the collaboration and generosity of administrators, lecturers, staff, students, the general public, as well as government and private organizations. These will be forwarded to the affected areas through the Student Development and Alumni Relations Division, Khon Kaen University, reflecting the power of kindness and public spirit of the Khon Kaen University community, which stands ready to support Thai society in times of difficulty.
