The Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University (KKU), extends an invitation to the public to experience the warm, inviting atmosphere of winter at the “Windmill Flower Field” (สวนดอกไม้แปลงกังหัน). The field is open for visitation from 1 to 31 December 2025 at the Agronomy Division, Faculty of Agriculture.
This space was carefully designed and developed by students of the Agronomy Club in the Agronomy Programme. They applied their knowledge of area management, planting schedules, and crop production to cultivate a vibrant and cheerful flower field.
This year, the flower field is decorated with a special Christmas atmosphere, offering a touch of warmth appropriate for the year-end season. It serves as an ideal check-in point for both graduating students and the general public.
Throughout the month, blooming sunflowers provide spectacular colour. The minimalist-style underground house offers an intimate photo opportunity, while the small bridge over the water, decorated in a Christmas theme, adds a delightful touch to walking and facilitates memorable moments. The area also features student-planted safe vegetable plots (organic produce) and is enhanced by relaxing background music in the evenings.

The Faculty of Agriculture encourages everyone to visit the Windmill Flower Field at the Agronomy Division throughout December to rest their eyes and minds, capture beautiful images amidst the cooling breeze, and share warm moments surrounded by nature.
