The Faculty of Medicine at Khon Kaen University (MDKKU), led by Associate Professor Pattarapong Makarawate, M.D., MSc, FHRS, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, along with executives, lecturers, and department heads, presented a donation totalling 310,605.44 Baht (Three hundred and ten thousand, six hundred and five Baht and forty-four Satang).
This financial assistance was delivered through the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University (MDPSU), to aid individuals affected by the recent severe flooding in the southern region of Thailand and to support the overall mission of Prince of Songkla University.
The Faculties of Medicine at Khon Kaen University and Prince of Songkla University maintain a strong fraternal relationship as part of the “Three Institutions Medical Faculties Group,” which also includes the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University. This group routinely convenes for knowledge exchange and has consistently cooperated in providing mutual support over the years.
In light of the current circumstances, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, initiated this campaign not only through its own institutional donation but also by serving as a bridge for charitable contributions, allowing individuals of high moral conviction to participate in providing relief to those suffering from the flood disaster. This commitment underscores the shared belief that “We are friends, and we stand together.”
