KKU Faculty of Science Researcher Wins Best Young Talent Researcher Award at ICAE 2025 in South Korea

Dr. David Nugroho, a lecturer in the Biosciences and Biological Innovation for Sustainability (BBiS) Programme within the Department of Integrated Science, Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, has won the Best Young Talent Researcher Award at the 8th International Conference on Advanced Electromaterials (ICAE 2025).

The award was presented during Session 17: Frontiers in Materials Science, organised by the Korean Institute of Electrical and Electronic Material Engineers. The conference took place from 25 to 28 November 2025, at the ICC Jeju on Jeju Island, South Korea.

Dr. Nugroho presented his research paper titled, “Synthesis of $\text{ZnO}/\text{Ti}_3\text{C}_2$ MXene/GQDs for Photocatalytic Degradation of Pharmaceutical Pollutants.”

This achievement underscores the strong potential and global recognition of the research conducted by the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, particularly in the fields of biological and environmental sciences. This success aligns with the faculty’s commitment to producing high-quality research and innovation at an international level for sustainable development, and its dedication to solving societal environmental problems.
