Sirikit Heart Centre Hosts 3rd Esan Pulmonary Hypertension Network Meeting (PH By Clinical Cases)

The 3rd Esan Pulmonary Hypertension Meeting was held for the third consecutive year on 13 December 2025 at the Avani Hotel in Khon Kaen Province. The meeting was organised by the Sirikit Heart Centre to foster collaborative guidelines for the care of patients suffering from Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) across the northeastern region of Thailand (Esan).

The event featured Associate Professor Burapa Phusatham, M.D., a cardiologist from the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, alongside expert speakers from various specialities across the country. They participated in a seminar titled “PH By Clinical Cases,” aimed at reviewing current knowledge and exchanging experiences related to managing complex Pulmonary Hypertension cases encompassing diverse clinical manifestations.

Pulmonary Hypertension is a serious chronic cardiovascular disorder. The comprehensive management of PH patients is complex, involving intricate processes from initial diagnosis, classification, severity assessment, and through to developing effective treatment plans.

Therefore, the care of each Pulmonary Hypertension patient necessitates a systematic, multidisciplinary approach involving several expert physicians working collaboratively. This network meeting aims to strengthen cooperation in patient care throughout the Esan region, enabling participants to leverage shared knowledge to refine and implement more efficient treatment strategies.
