KKU Collaborates with French Embassy to Host Campus France Tour 2026

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and International Relations Division Organise Special Lecture and Documentary Screening to Promote Study Opportunities and Academic Mobility Programmes.

On 16 January 2026, Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in collaboration with the International Relations Division, successfully hosted a special lecture and documentary screening event. This activity, organised in partnership with the French Embassy in Thailand, was part of the Campus France Tour 2026, held under the themes “Study in France and Scholarship Opportunities” and “Fellowship and Mobility Programmes.” The event aimed to promote international education opportunities and enhance academic cooperation.

The special lecture and screening welcomed representatives from the Embassy of France in Thailand, including Mr. Ludovic Andres, Attaché for Scientific and Higher Education Cooperation, and Ms. Sujira Panyawattana, Student Advisor for Campus France. Mr. Andres and Ms. Panyawattana delivered presentations on the dedicated topics.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Kantapong Jitkla, Vice Dean for Education and Digital, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, while Mr. Ludovic Andres delivered a keynote address.

The activity provided crucial information regarding the French education system and guidelines, the application process for courses and scholarships, language preparation, and student life in France. Furthermore, attendees received information on PhD and post-doctoral research grant opportunities. The event sought to inspire academic potential development and support the continuous establishment of academic collaboration networks between Khon Kaen University and French higher education institutions.
