Khon Kaen University (KKU) has announced the opening of applications for candidates wishing to stand for election as University Council members representing the full-time faculty category (to fill a vacant position) for the 28th University Council set. This process aims to provide an opportunity for qualified faculty members to participate in driving the university’s governance in accordance with good corporate governance principles.
Interested applicants may submit their applications digitally. They must download the application form from the Office of the University Council website, complete the required information, attach all supporting documents, and apply a Digital Signature. The completed documents must be submitted as a PDF file via email to meeting@kku.ac.th between 2 and 9 February 2026, according to Thailand time. Applicants must meet all qualifications specified by the Election Committee.
Eligible voters can cast their ballots online by logging into their KKU email account at https://mail.kku.ac.th/ on Friday, 20 February 2026, from 09:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs, Thailand time. The system will provide clear instructions for voting to ensure the process is convenient, efficient, and transparent. Each eligible voter is entitled to select no more than one candidate or may choose not to vote for any candidate.
All eligible faculty voters and interested parties are encouraged to check the details regarding qualifications, criteria, application procedures, the election calendar, the list of eligible voters, and the digital voting instructions on the website of the Office of the University Council.
