Queen Sirikit Heart Center Hosts “ACLS New & Renewal Instructor 2026” Workshop to Advance Resuscitation Training

On 20 February 2026, the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Committee (QSHC CPR Committee) of the Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, organised the “ACLS New & Renewal Instructor 2026” training programme. The workshop was designed to enhance the capabilities of instructors in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), equipping them with comprehensive knowledge, effective teaching techniques, and professional skills in managing simulation scenarios.

The training focused on systematically building expertise in teaching the ACLS curriculum, from instructional design and motivational communication to learner assessment. The objective is to ensure that certified instructors can accurately impart knowledge, build confidence, and elevate the life-saving skills of personnel at all levels, enabling them to respond correctly, swiftly, and safely.

The event was honoured by the participation of Asst. Prof. Thapanawong Mitsungnern, M.D., and Thanat Tangpaisarn, M.D., from the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. They served as guest speakers, sharing their experience and providing updates on the latest practices according to the Guideline 2025. Additionally, representatives from leading companies introduced the latest resuscitation technologies and equipment.

The workshop also provided an opportunity for participating instructors to exchange experiences, review their roles and responsibilities, and collectively propose strategies for modernising the CPR curriculum to align with current emergency situations.
