On 26 February 2026, the Faculty of Nursing at Khon Kaen University was honoured to host a high-level delegation from the Department of Health Personnel, Ministry of Health, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR). The visit aimed to discuss and exchange knowledge on developing nursing professionals through continuing education programmes, reinforcing the strong relationship and advancing academic collaboration between the two nations.
The delegation from Lao PDR was led by Mrs Sengmany Khambounheuang, Deputy Director General of the Department of Health Personnel, Ministry of Health, accompanied by ten senior executives and key staff members. They were warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Ampornpan Theeranut, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and the faculty’s administrative team.
