Khon Kaen University has once again created a significant milestone by partnering with JobThai, the nation’s leading employment platform, to host the highly anticipated “KKU Job Fair 2026 Powered by JobThai.” Held on 28 February 2026 at the Golden Jubilee Convention Centre, Khon Kaen University, the event marked the return of a full-scale employment exposition after several years, invigorating not only students and recent graduates but also opening a crucial door of opportunity for job seekers across the entire northeastern region.
From morning until evening, the atmosphere was bustling with energy, reflecting the aspirations and dynamism of a new generation ready to enter the professional world. Over 100 leading companies set up booths, offering more than 10,000 quality job positions, which drew a continuous stream of enthusiastic attendees.
At the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Pensri Jaroenwanit, Ph.D., Vice President for Student Affairs and Innovation Commercialization, spoke about the vision and dedication behind this historic event.
“I would like to welcome everyone to this important occasion, which would not have been possible without the full support of JobThai. The genesis of this collaboration began late last year during a discussion with Ms. Saengduan Tangthamsatit, CEO of JobThai. I presented the reality that Khon Kaen University and other educational institutions in the region produce over 10,000 quality graduates for the labour market annually. Although our graduates are highly regarded due to our standing as a leading university, a key element we still needed was ‘opportunity’—a way for them to access good jobs conveniently and quickly, while reducing the financial and time barriers of travelling to other provinces to apply for work.”
The Vice President continued, “The challenge we discussed that day was clear: if we were to hold an event in Khon Kaen, it had to be the grandest of its kind—a truly ‘mega job fair.’ JobThai impressively accepted this challenge and made it a reality. Therefore, this event is not just about bringing job vacancies to the region; it is about bringing pride and hope to the people of Khon Kaen and the entire Northeast.”
Ms. Saengduan Tangthamsatit, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JobThai, as the co-organiser, spoke of her commitment to building this bridge of opportunity.
