Khon Kaen, Thailand – The Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast joined the “KKU Societal Contribution Expo 2026”, offering comprehensive cardiac health services to the public. The event, held at the Khon Kaen Railway Station, reflects Khon Kaen University’s steadfast commitment to community engagement and societal wellbeing.
As part of Khon Kaen University’s broader community outreach initiative, the Heart Center utilised its medical expertise and advanced technology to serve the public. A dedicated team of nurses, pharmacists, and physical therapists conducted preliminary health assessments and provided personalised consultations.
The free health services offered during the event included cardiovascular wellness evaluations, heart disease risk screenings, and electrocardiogram (ECG) testing. In addition, the team provided guidance on safe medication use and cardiac rehabilitation practices for patients and at-risk individuals.
The primary objective of this outreach initiative was to improve public access to preventive healthcare, reduce potential health risks, and increase awareness of cardiovascular disease before symptoms develop.
