Khon Kaen University Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences Holds White Coat Ceremony to Welcome 2nd-Year Students into the Profession for Academic Year 2025

On Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the Pissit-Netchaleo Sanpitak Meeting Room on the 8th floor of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University organized a white coat ceremony for 2nd-year students to proudly and elegantly step onto their professional path. The opening ceremony was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Jurairat Dadduang, Dean of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, who officially opened the event and gave an address to the students.

This ceremony was held to present the white coats, signifying entry into the profession, with the objectives of fostering pride and awareness of the importance of professional roles among students, encouraging students to recognize their responsibilities, virtues, ethics, and professional conduct, and promoting relationships and engagement between parents and the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences. 

Associate Professor Dr. Jurairat Dadduang, Dean of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, stated that the “white coat” is not just a uniform but a symbol of knowledge, responsibility, and ethics in the healthcare profession. It reflects the dedication to acting as a virtuous professional committed to ethical conduct. This event marks another significant step for 2nd-year students as they embark on new roles as “prospective professionals,” ready to steadfastly walk along their professional path with a heart full of responsibility.

Meanwhile, an activity for parents of 2nd-year students to meet and exchange opinions with the executive committee was held at the 42-Year Meeting Room on the 1st floor to foster understanding and collaboration in nurturing and developing students throughout their educational journey.

The atmosphere was filled with warmth, pride, and smiles from students, faculty members, executives, parents, and all personnel. They collectively captured memorable moments in front of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences building.
