March 18, 2026 – The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjug (Dean) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Samart (Associate Dean for Education), welcomed executives from the Office of the Education Council (OEC), led by Dr. Chaipreuk Sereerak (Advisor) and Dr. Aegkawat Losuniran (Assistant Secretary-General).

The meeting served as a strategic platform to exchange perspectives on developing teacher education curricula that integrate English language proficiency into content instruction. The goal is to enhance the capabilities of pre-service teachers to meet international standards and the demands of modern society.

During the visit, the Faculty presented the “Disruptive Thinking Pedagogy,” a unique instructional model designed to cultivate critical thinking. Additionally, the OEC delegation observed teacher training at the Khon Kaen University Demonstration School (International Division), which emphasizes the use of English throughout the learning process. This collaboration reinforces the commitment to producing high-quality graduates ready to drive Thai education toward global excellence.
