Dental Hospital of Faculty of Dentistry, KKU, Conducts Basic First Aid and CPR Training to Enhance Emergency Response Skills

The training initiative aims to equip healthcare personnel with vital life-saving skills to ensure maximum safety for patients and staff.

The Dental Hospital of the Faculty of Dentistry at Khon Kaen University organised a training programme titled “Basic First Aid for Medical Emergency” on 1 July 2026. The event was held at the Multipurpose Conference Room on the eighth floor of the King’s 72nd Birthday Anniversary Commemoration Building, Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University. The initiative aimed to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of Dental Hospital personnel in handling medical emergencies effectively.

The training session featured Mr. Kongla Saenphan and the Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Life Support Unit team from the Medical Administration Division of Srinagarind Hospital, Khon Kaen University. As guest speakers, the team delivered theoretical instruction and led hands-on simulations in proper first aid procedures, CPR techniques, and standard medical emergency response protocols.

This project aimed to broaden the hospital staff’s skillset, ensuring a swift, effective response to medical emergencies. By equipping personnel with these skills, the Dental Hospital aims to raise safety standards for patients, visitors, and staff alike, strengthening public confidence in the quality of its healthcare services.
