KKU Communications Division Welcomes Srikranuanwittayakom School’s Thai Youth News Centre Club for Corporate Communications Study Visit

Students and teachers engage in hands-on digital media production and AI integration through a practical “learning by doing” approach.

The Communications Division of Khon Kaen University recently welcomed a delegation of teachers and students from the Thai Youth News Centre Club at Srikranuanwittayakom School. Led by Mr. Chumphon Para, Director of the Communications Division, alongside division staff, the university hosted more than 80 participants headed by Mrs. Chayanititip Khejorasit, representative of the Thai Youth News Centre Club. Under the concept of “Learning by Doing”, the study visit aimed to provide students with the opportunity to understand public relations and corporate communications processes through practical experience while exchanging knowledge with university professionals. The visit convened on Monday, 6 July 2026, at the Meeting Room of the Communications Division, Office of the President Building 2, Khon Kaen University.

During the visit, Mr. Chumphon Para, Director of the Communications Division, delivered a welcoming address to the delegation. The Director outlined the division’s operations and Khon Kaen University’s approach to managing its communication channels, giving participants a clearer picture of the role corporate communications plays in the digital era.

The itinerary featured specialised lectures delivered by heads of sections and staff members from various units within the Communications Division, including Public Relations, Radio Broadcasting, Media Production, and Event Management. The sessions provided insights into event management, master of ceremonies (MC) techniques, photography, radio programme production, news writing, graphic design, and short video production. Additionally, the lectures highlighted how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is applied in media production and corporate communication workflows.

Participants also took part in hands-on workshops designed to build their media production, communication, and teamwork skills. This practical segment allowed students to exchange knowledge, ask questions, and share insights directly with the university’s communications personnel in an interactive environment.

This study visit highlights the commitment of the Communications Division of Khon Kaen University to disseminating corporate communications knowledge to the public and fostering collaborative networks with educational institutions. By developing young people’s potential and equipping them with communication, creative thinking, and media production skills, the initiative lays a strong foundation for the communications sector’s future workforce.
