Seventeen undergraduate students from Khon Kaen University and Ubon Ratchathani University are participating in an international summer school to broaden their perspectives on public policy and international affairs.
The College of Public Affairs and Policy (COPA) at Khon Kaen University (KKU), in collaboration with the College of International, the Faculty of Law at KKU, and the Faculty of Political Science at Ubon Ratchathani University, has sent a total of 17 undergraduate students to participate in the 2026 Global Public Policy Fudan International Summer School. The programme, organised by the Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) at Fudan University, is being held in Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China, from 5 to 19 July 2026.
The programme serves as an international learning platform, giving students from various countries the opportunity to study and exchange experiences in public policy and international affairs. Participants engage with this global environment through academic coursework, in-depth discussions, and cross-cultural exchange activities with their international peers.
Over the two-week programme, participating students will enrol in subjects focused on public policy and international affairs. They will also join learning activities designed by scholars and experts from some of the world’s leading universities. In addition to faculty members from Fudan University, academics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the University of Helsinki, and the University of Michigan will share their expertise and practical experience on contemporary public policy issues.
This participation reflects the commitment of the College of Public Affairs and Policy, Khon Kaen University, and its institutional networks to promoting international learning experiences. The initiative aims to develop students’ potential, deepening their knowledge and understanding of public policy and international relations. The programme also seeks to build practical skills in multicultural environments, preparing students to become ethical leaders and strategic policymakers on the global stage.
