On 21 July 2569, Khon Kaen University, through its Corporate Communications Division, held the inaugural meeting of the Khon Kaen University Digital Photographers Network for Public Relations Media in the Sarasin Conference Room on the 2nd floor of the Kaen Kalaphruek Building. The meeting aimed to establish a collaborative network for producing high-quality photographs and to launch KKU STOCK PHOTO,
a digital image library system developed to serve as a central hub for systematically storing, retrieving, and utilising photographs for the university’s public relations efforts.
Associate Professor Natsomol Thanakulrangsit, Vice President for Legal Affairs and Corporate Communications, presided over the opening ceremony and outlined the network’s operational policies. Mr. Chumphon Para, Director of the Corporate Communications Division, presented a report on the project’s background and objectives.

In his opening remarks, Associate Vice President for Legal Affairs and Corporate Communications Dr. Natsamol Thanakulrangsrit stated that in the digital age, photography is not merely a means of documenting events but a vital tool for conveying the university’s stories, values, and identity to society The establishment of the Digital Photography Creators Network aims to develop personnel capable of playing a creative role in corporate communications through imagery, while also establishing standards for photography production and creating a platform for knowledge exchange to collaboratively produce high-quality photographs that reflect the university’s identity and meet the demands of communication in the digital age
Mr. Chumphon Para, Director of the Corporate Communications Division, said that the division has developed the KKU STOCK PHOTO system in tandem with the establishment of the Digital Photographers Network to enable all departments to efficiently store, search, and utilize shared photographs, reduce operational duplication, and elevate the university’s public relations standards to ensure consistency.
During the event, Mr. Buripat Thasi, a lecturer in Audiovisual Education, presented the operational guidelines for the Digital Photographer Network project for Khon Kaen University’s public relations media. He explained the network’s role in elevating photography standards for corporate communications and fostering collaboration among university departments, and outlined the criteria and characteristics of photographs to be published through the KKU STOCK PHOTO system, ensuring they meet uniform standards and can be effectively utilised for public relations purposes.
Mr. Krisada Ruangsriwirat, an information technology specialist, then introduced the KKU STOCK PHOTO system, presenting an overview of its development, website structure, and security measures, and demonstrating how to upload images to the system. He also outlined the procedures and best practices for using the system so that administrators from each department can manage the image library correctly, maintain consistent standards, and ensure the images are ready for effective use in public relations.

Fifty staff members from various faculties and departments across the university attended the meeting, covering academic, research, academic services, support, and central administrative units. This reflects the collaborative effort to enhance corporate communication through photography and marks an important starting point for building a network of digital photographers at Khon Kaen University. Moving forward, the network will collaboratively develop and test the KKU STOCK PHOTO system before launching it in full, establishing it as a central hub for storing, retrieving, and utilising photographs for the university’s future public relations efforts.
