Second-Year College of Computing Student Secures Runner-Up Titles at the 4th ASEAN Grand Prix Youth Robotics and Esports Competition 2026
On 13 July 2026, Ms. Pornnipa Singhsuwan, a second-year Artificial Intelligence student at the College of Computing, Khon Kaen University (KKU), earned two distinguished awards at the 4th CPU ASEAN Grand Prix Youth Robotics and Esports Competition 2026, held at Chaopraya University in Nakhon Sawan Province.
Ms. Singhsuwan achieved the First Runner-Up award in the ASEAN RoboTracer Autonomous Robot category and the Fourth Runner-Up award in the ASEAN Line Tracer Drag Race Autonomous Robot category, both at the undergraduate level.
Reflecting on her achievement, Ms. Singhsuwan stated that thorough preparation and quick problem-solving during the event were central to her success. She noted that the experience was immensely gratifying and served as strong encouragement to continue developing her technical capabilities.
Throughout her preparation, Ms. Singhsuwan received academic guidance from her advisor, Dr. Wanchalerm Nadda, who provided support in robot design, troubleshooting, and tactical preparation. The achievement highlights the practical integration of classroom learning, intensive practice, and independent research.
