KKU Attends 137th “Siharach Coffee Club” Meeting to Strengthen Inter-Agency Relations in Khon Kaen

The monthly gathering fostered warm camaraderie and enhanced collaborative networks across the public, private, and academic sectors.

On the morning of 14 August 2026, Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Mr. Chumporn Para, Director of the Communications Division, along with university personnel, attended the 137th “Siharach Coffee Club”. The event was held at the Multipurpose Building of the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, Siharat Dechochai Camp. The meeting brought together representatives from government agencies, the private sector, and educational institutions across Khon Kaen Province.

The event commenced with a solemn tribute paid in memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit Her Majesty the Queen Mother, and Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narenthiratepwadee, Princess Rajasarini Siripachara Mahavachraratchathida. Following the tribute, participants viewed an introductory video presenting the history, operational scope, and key missions of the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, prior to the official welcome address.

Senior Colonel Suphornthep Chaiyong, Commander of the 8th Infantry Regiment, serving as the official host, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. In his opening remarks, he highlighted the core purpose of the Siharach Coffee Club as a regular platform designed to enable government bodies, private enterprises, and regional network partners to exchange valuable news, insights, and operational perspectives. He emphasised that these ongoing interactions build strong inter-agency relationships and strategic alliances, ultimately driving sustainable local development and delivering more efficient public services.

The gathering took place in an exceptionally warm and friendly atmosphere, accompanied by a musical performance by the Siharat Band. Before concluding, the event featured an interactive quiz session with special prizes, adding an engaging element for all attendees, and concluded with a commemorative group photograph.

The 137th Siharach Coffee Club serves as a testament to the robust inter-agency cooperation and strong community ties among public, private, and academic organisations in Khon Kaen. Held on a monthly basis with host responsibilities rotating among participating partners, the forum continues to act as a vital collaborative mechanism in driving the progressive growth and development of Khon Kaen Province.
