Khon Kaen Business School inspires young learners to explore academic pathways and prepare for digital-era business professions through hands-on learning.
Khon Kaen Business School (KKBS) at Khon Kaen University (KKU) successfully organised the Khon Kaen Business School Intelligent Student Camp 2026 (KKBS Camp 2026), providing final-year secondary school students from across Thailand with practical insights into business administration. The initiative aimed to help participants discover their academic aptitudes, identify personal career interests, and build a solid foundation for higher education. Attracting strong interest nationwide, the event welcomed over 340 secondary school participants. Asst. Prof. Pongsutti Phuensane, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, presided over the opening ceremony, alongside Suparak Janjarasjit, PhD, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Digital.

The camp ran across two weekends, from 1 to 2 August and 8 to 9 August 2026. Designed as an intensive experiential learning programme, KKBS Camp 2026 featured five specialised curriculum tracks: Tourism Innovation Management (Thai Programme), Tourism Innovation Management (English Programme), Marketing Technology, Finance and Financial Technology, and Digital Entrepreneurship. Participants engaged in active learning workshops supervised by expert faculty members and received close mentorship from senior undergraduate students, who shared academic guidance and firsthand insights into university life. The interactive environment allowed students to clarify their professional goals, recognise their strengths, and gain a realistic perspective on future career trajectories in the business sector.
Beyond strengthening participants’ academic knowledge, the camp served as a strategic pathway for prospective undergraduates committed to pursuing degrees in business administration and accountancy. The practical exercises equipped participants with essential skills for university-level coursework. Furthermore, students who completed the camp and achieved a “Good” performance evaluation rating or higher earned certificates that can be submitted to support their applications under Portfolio Round 1 for the KKU High-Potential Student Recruitment Scheme.
Through this initiative, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy demonstrated its commitment to expanding educational opportunities and broadening perspectives on contemporary business disciplines for secondary school students. By combining practical skills development with career orientation, KKBS Camp 2026 provided young learners with the confidence and clarity needed to transition effectively into higher education.
